Involving People Who Use the Service

General Service Information

Camino Healthcare Group is committed to developing the best possible package of care and recognises the importance of meaningful collaboration, involvement, communication and engagement with the people who receive the service and family and carers. We have a planned programme of involvement which includes:

  • Regular consultation group on service developments and policy
  • People will be involved in co-writing the adults and carer involvement strategy; interview and recruitment process; and in co-producing and co-facilitating staff training events
  • Running joint staff and adults training events
  • Regular open evenings for commissioners, family, friends and carers to meet with staff, including Camino Healthcare Group senior management team
  • Buddy system – opportunity for current adults to be involved in introducing new people to the service
  • Community meetings – all staff and adults are invited and expected to attend the Community Meetings to celebrate individual and community progress and make any adjustments needed to any aspect of the programme

In addition, we will complete regular qualitative reviews, using questionnaire feedback forms and interviews with adults, carers, staff and eternal agencies. This will capture individual reflections of therapeutic progress and service development.

Outcomes will be reviewed regularly and formal feedback will be produced at planned intervals agreed with stakeholders.
