A 16 bedded high dependency rehabilitation unit with 2 separate bedsits

Our Units

The service is a 14 bedded Hospital Avoidance High Dependency Support Unit with 2 separate bedsits in an adjacent suite, offering flexibility in our approach to care and treatment and enabling the service to both manage periods of more intense need without needing to access acute services, and, enabling the service to respond to crisis admissions to avoid inpatient hospital admissions. The service operates as a psychologically informed environment and offers a multi-disciplinary model of working. It is staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year, each shift led by a Registered Nurse with experience of complex mental health problems and risk management.
